Bookseller & Book Drop Team Member

We're currently hiring a bookseller to help with our Book Drop shop in West Fenwick & to help pack our monthly subscription service. Please see below for job requirements. 

Job Description

Typical daily tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Wrapping books & preparing items for our monthly book subscription service
  • Packing book mailers for our monthly book subscription service
  • Operating cash register and credit card machine (included in training)
  • Answering customer phone calls
  • Shelving books and maintaining displays
  • Using computer system to look up inventory, special order books, and operate cash register (included in training)
  • Boxing books for returns 

Applicants Must:

  • Be 16 years or older
  • Have a passion and love for reading & books
  • Have intermediate computer skills and be able to use a computer without assistance
  • Be able to lift boxes of books (typically 30-35lbs each)
  • Be polite, professional, and have social skills to interact with customers 
  • Be open-minded
